TEACHING WITH VISUAL SYMBOLS

It is easier to understand certain topic with the help of visual symbols than just presenting topics with the use
of plenty of words.I could say that I prefer to have visual symbols than words because it is easier for me to interpret what is the meaning of the drawing than just reading plenty of words. We cant deny the fact that we enjoy seeing symbols than words and we have courage to study hard or to read books with symbols than just having books with mere words. We future teacher we must know the important of having visual symbols cause we cant deny the fact that our students especially children wants symbols or pictures rather than words alone. In visual symbols it  comprises five kinds these are the following:
  • DRAWINGS may not be the real thing but better to have a concrete visual aid than nothing.
  • Art helps children understand other subjects much more clearly—from math and science, to language arts and geography.
  • Art nurtures inventiveness as it engages children in a process that aids in the development of self-esteem, self-discipline, cooperation, and self-motivation.
  • Participating in art activities helps children to gain the tools necessary for understanding human experience, adapting to and respecting others' ways of working and thinking, developing creative problem-solving skills, and communicating thoughts and ideas in a variety of ways.

  • CARTOONS  it is one of the useful visual symbols in a way that it can bring novelty to our teaching strategy someday. With the help of cartoons it is easier to convey the message of a certain thing.
  • STRIP DRAWING  it is more common in its name as a comic strip. It is useful in away that it is educational and entertaining at the same time. This is very applicable to young children cause children now a days are bored in reading books in a long period of time.
  • DIAGRAM  it is any line drawing that shows arrangement and relations as of parts to the whole.
  • CHARTS  is a diagrammatic representation of relationships among individuals within an organization.
By charting the price movements of a financial instrument over a period of time, a technical analyst has a convenient and easy-to-read source of information. The technical analyst can see the complete record of a financial instrument's trading history at a glance.

Technical analysis is based on the idea that, to know where financial instrument prices are going, one must know where they have been. Therefore, charts are a fundamental element of technical analysis. Technical market analysis is based on the technical action of the market itself.
The chart shows relationships between staff in the organization which can be:
  • Line - direct relationship between superior and subordinate.
  • Lateral - relationship between different departments on the same hierarchical level.
  • Staff - relationship between a managerial assistant and other areas. The assistant will be able to offer advice to a line manager. However, they have no authority over the line manager actions.
  • Functional - relationships between specialist positions and other areas. The specialist will normally have authority to insist that a line manager implements any of their instructions.
